Age categories and challenges
Pre-K – 2nd Grade/3rd – 6th Grade (Virtual Finale Events on October 30)
The Floor is Lava, Bottle Flipping, Virtual Scavenger Hunt, Hula Hoop, Skip
7th – 12th Grade & Adults/18+ (Virtual Finale Events on October 30)

Challenges and Rules
The Floor is Lava
Task: Try this balance challenge! Balance on one leg on your tiptoes for as long as possible, remember the surrounding floor is lava so you need to stay balanced for as long as possible. The individual with the best time will win the game.
Bottle Flipping
Task: Try this bottle flipping challenge! The individual with the greatest overall number of bottle flips in 30 seconds will win the game.
Co-ordination Championship
Task: Enter in and take part in this co-ordination challenge! How many times can you throw the ball against a wall and catch it in 30 seconds? The individual with the greatest overall number wins.
Roll the Plank
Task: Have a go at this toilet roll planking challenge. You must hold the planking position with an upright toilet roll placed in the center of your back. The aim is to plank for as long as possible before the toilet roll falls off! The individual with the greatest overall time wins.
Keep it up!
Task: Try this football juggling challenge! The individual with the greatest number of overall juggles wins
Toilet Roll Bounds
Task: have a go at the speed bounce challenge! Place three or four toilet rolls together to form a line and see how many times you can bounce/jump over the toilet rolls in 30 seconds, without touching them. The individual with the most jumps will win.
Wall Squat Warrior
Task: have a go at this wall squat challenge. With your legs apart, squat against a wall and place a toilet roll upright on one of your legs. The aim is to squat for as long as possible before the toilet roll falls off. The individual with the greatest overall time wins.
Push Yourself
Task: Push yourself to the limit! How many press-ups can you complete in 30 seconds? The individual with the greatest overall number wins.
Be Inspired
Task: Send a picture or video of you completing an activity / sport / workout (from anytime!) The most inspiring pictures / videos win prize.
Virtual Scavenger Hunt
Task: Virtual scavenger hunts are remote games where players scramble to find items or fulfill challenges before time runs out.
COMPLETED CHALLENGES
Map my Move/Walking Challenge
Rules:
- Steps taken while walking are counted every day for 7 days starting Oct 16th 2021 at 12:01 AM.
- Participants can use their individual fitness trackers to track and count the steps. If you do not have a fitness tracker, you can still use your mobile phones to track their steps.
- Participants without individual fitness trackers should install Google Fit (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.fitness&hl=en_US) for Android phones and for Apple IOS phones you need Health App (https://www.apple.com/ios/health/) which is already available in IOS phones.
- Any other mobile applications to track the steps cannot be used.
- Each participant must individually track their steps and send a screenshot of it to this specific group at the end of each day. This will be our motivating factor for the next day to get more steps😊. If someone failed to post their screenshot by the end of the day, for them, we will consider their count as 0 for that day.
- On the 7th day on October 22nd, 2021, each participant must download the week’s report with each day count clearly mentioned and the total count for the week and should publish it in this group.
- Any discrepancies found by judges in the counts will be disqualified. Judges may request for additional information if necessary. Judges will have the full rights to decide the winner.
- Individual with the highest total steps at the end of the competition will be the winner!
Biking Challenge
Task/Rules:
- Biking Challenge starts on Oct 23rd 2021 at 12 AM.
- Miles you bike are counted every day for 6 days.
- Biking miles are tracked using a common mobile application “Map my Ride”.
- IOS Apple users can download it from App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/map-my-ride-by-under-armour/id292223170). Android users can download it from Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mapmyride.android2&hl=en_US).
- Once downloaded, you will have to create a free account and have to join the challenge created for the specific category in map my ride.
- Any other mobile applications to track the miles cannot be used.
- Each participant must individually track their miles and send a screenshot of it to this specific whatsapp group at the end of each day. This will be our motivating factor for the next day to get more steps. 😊
- On the 6th day on Oct 28th, 2021 by 11:59 PM, each participant must download the week’s report with each day count clearly mentioned and the total count for the week and should publish it in the whatsapp group.
- Any discrepancies found by judges in the counts will be disqualified. Judges may request for additional information if necessary. Judges will have the full rights to decide the winner.
- Individual with the highest total miles at the end of the competition will be the winner!
