Who Are We?

The Kerala Cultural Society of Metropolitan Washington Inc.(KCSMW), was formed in 1984 to serve the Malayali community of the Washington metropolitan area. The primary focus has been to promote cultural awareness and social activities primarily among the North American Malayalee Asian-Indians living in the USA.

KCSMW is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization registered in the state of Maryland. The organization, widely known as KCS, has steadfastly grown in the last few years with the help of an uncompromising agenda that is catered towards the importance of social life, cultural values, humanitarian service and community outreach.

Mission: Provide a rich and diverse environment to embrace various interests within the Malayalee-Indian community of the Washington metropolitan area. To demonstrate a broad outlook, engage in community outreach, youth empowerment and cultural showcase activities.
