Welcome to Kerala Cultural Society
Born in 1984, The Kerala Cultural Society of Metropolitan Washington Inc. (KCSMW) is a non-profit organization registered in the State of Maryland with a focus for promoting the cultural awareness and social activities primarily among the Asian-Indians living in the USA.
The organization, widely known as KCS, serves the interest of the Washington DC community that comprises of the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. As one of the premier organizations in the region, KCS has steadfastly grown in the last few years with the help of an uncompromising agenda that is catered towards the importance of social life.
Youth Activities
The youth of the KCS community, this year like previous years, are excited to show their dedication and pride in the vision of the Kerala Cultural Society. There is much appreciation for the goals of KCS to preserve Malayalee culture and linguistic heritage through events, classes, and group volunteering. We value the sense of belonging that is experienced from every event and hope to continue this tradition for upcoming and future generations.

Thank you for your whole hearten support for a very successful Summer Dreams 2012. We are very pleased with the turnout and overwhelmed with your unconditional support. As always, your continuous reinforcement gives us the motivation to come up with innovative ideas and raise the bar for the next event. We are extremely grateful for all the encouragement and positive feed back from the community and hope we will continue to meet your expectations for all our future programs. With audience participation, our flash mob at the end was the highlight of the evening. Our special thanks to all our participants for an outstanding job, parents for all the encouragement and most of all our heartfelt appreciation to all the choreographers for working tirelessly and diligently with the kids. Last but not least, none of this was possible without the generous support from all our sponsors. Your gesture for supporting the community has not gone unnoticed.
